These Terms of Sale govern purchases made through the BOOP KK Jewellery Shopify store.

Order Acceptance

All orders placed are offers to purchase.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of:

  • suspected fraud or unauthorised transactions
  • pricing or listing errors
  • product unavailability

A binding contract is formed only when you receive an order confirmation email.

If an order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued within 7 business days.

Pricing & Payment
  • All prices are displayed in USD (United States Dollars)
  • Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
  • The final price charged is the price displayed at checkout
  • Payment must be received in full before dispatch

We accept payment through Shopify-supported methods.

BOOP is not responsible for:

  • currency conversion fees
  • foreign transaction charges applied by your payment provider

Product Descriptions & Accuracy

We take care to ensure all product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate.

  • Variations in screen display may affect how colours appear
  • Minor variations may occur due to the nature of materials

We comply with the Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362) and do not make misleading representations.

Where applicable, gold and precious metals are marked in accordance with relevant Hong Kong regulations.

Delivery
  • Orders are dispatched from Hong Kong
  • Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and are not guaranteed

Risk of loss transfers upon confirmed delivery to the customer, not at the point of shipment.

For international orders:

  • You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees
  • These charges are determined by your local authorities

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • customs clearance
  • shipping carriers
  • events beyond our reasonable control

Intellectual Property

All content on this store — including designs, product images, branding, copy, and logos — is the intellectual property of BOOP KK Jewellery.

No content may be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, including the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71):

  • BOOP’s total liability is limited to the purchase price of the item
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters
  • pandemics
  • shipping or logistics disruptions
  • government actions

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

If you are a consumer outside Hong Kong, you may also have rights under your local consumer protection laws. These Terms do not limit those rights.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Changes take effect upon posting. Continued use of the site or placing an order constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
